Hambledon Infant School
The school has a very simple uniform. Sweatshirts, polo shirts and caps bearing the school logo are available from the School Office.

In wet weather parents are asked to see that their child has alternative footwear to change into. This avoids a child having to be in damp footwear and prevents damage to carpeting.
Indoor Physical Education is done in bare feet in accordance with County recommendations but for other physical activities all chiildren require plimsolls (preferably slip-on type) and a pair of shorts and a T-shirt. Shorts should be above the knee and T-shirts close fitting to enable them to be tucked in easily. A bag is needed to keep the above items.
Please ensure that all clothing is clearly marked.
The wearing of jewellery, especially earrings, is discouraged, and, because of the danger of torn ears, no child may take part in Physical Education or any sports when wearing earrings unless they are covered with tape.
The school cannot accept responsibility for the loss of any earrings or other jewellery worn in school.
If you have any difficulty in providing your child with essential items of clothing or footwear for Physical Education, a limited amount of financial assistance may be available, depending on your income. For further details, please enquire of the Local Education Office (023 9249 8200).
